General:
By agreeing to use Spin Driving School services for Driving Lessons, Lesson Packages, Mock Tests, Pre-Tests, Car Hire, or Gift Vouchers either in person, by phone, by email or on our online shop, you are also agreeing to our terms and conditions.

You MUST have your in-date Learner Permit on your person for every driving lesson. Your driving lesson cannot be conducted under any circumstances if you do not have your learner permit with you for the lesson. 

You MUST wear appropriate footwear and clothing for your driving lesson. Your Driving Instructor will advise you if your footwear or clothing is inappropriate for driving before the start of the lesson. 

Cancelation/No Show Policy:
If for any reason you need to cancel or rearrange your driving lesson, you MUST give AT LEAST 24 HOURS’ NOTICE to your Driving Instructor in advance of your lesson start time. If you do not, YOU WILL be liable for 100% of the cost of the duration of that lesson.

Your Driving Instructor will contact you when he arrives at the agreed upon location and time for your lesson. If your Driving Instructor cannot get in touch with you and you don’t show up for your lesson without notifying your Driving Instructor in advance, YOU WILL be liable for 100% of the cost of the duration of that lesson. Your Driving Instructor will wait at the location for 15 minutes before this applies.

With the high wait times for Driving Lessons, we hate to turn people away. With that in mind, we need to give as many people as possible the opportunity to do their lessons. By cancelling last minute, or not showing up for your lesson, you are robbing people of an opportunity who would love to get a lesson done. 

Deviation from your Lesson Schedule:
Your Driving Instructor reserves the right to cancel or postpone your driving lesson due to any reason that your Driving Instructor deems necessary for whatever reason at any time. This could be due to bad weather conditions, bad road conditions, inability to drive due to alcohol, drugs, or sickness, etc. Your Driving Instructor will give you as much notice as possible given the situation. 

Shop Purchases:
Lesson packages, Single Hour Lessons, Mock Tests, Pre-Tests, or Car Hire purchased on the Spin Driving School online shop are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Gift Vouchers:
If you buy a Gift Voucher from the Spin Driving School shop, it has an expiry date of 5 years from the date of purchase. However, if you bought a gift voucher for a certain price and we have increased our service prices after the first year of the sale, you will be liable for the difference in price from the original sale price to the current service price. This price, increase difference, if applicable, will increase with each price rise per year of the purchase price for said Gift Voucher until it is utilised. 

Gift Vouchers purchased on the Spin Driving School online shop are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Car Hire
We offer both, Manual & Automatic cars for hire to students who do not have access to their own vehicle to sit the driving test. However, we only offer car hire to students who have completed a 2-hour assessment with us to ensure they are ready and competent enough to sit the test before we will offer a car for hire. If we feel a student is not test ready or not safe or competent enough on the road, we will not be in a position to offer a car to sit the test.
